Naggo Head register big win over S’borough in INSPORTS netball

NAGGO Head Primary registered the biggest win as the Institute of Sports All-Island Primary Schools netball competition got going, beating Southborough Primary 25-0.

In the second match at Portsmouth Primary the home team were beaten 15-0 by Bridgeport Primary, while in the North St Catherine zone Bermaddy Primary defeated Jericho Primary 9-2 and Guy’s Hill got the better of Rosemount 13-0.

Over at Marlie Mount Primary School, Spring Gardens defeated Old Harbour 5-4 in a very close encounter before Marlie Mount whipped Homestead Primary 21-6.

In the St Catherine Central Zone, McAuley Primary beat Ensom City 9-1 while Friendship Primary and St John’s drew 1-1.

St John’s were involved in another drawn game at 5-5 with Crescent Primary while McAuley whipped Friendship 7-1. Portsmouth crashed 6-13 to Naggo Head and Kensington beat Southborough 7-5 in a close encounter.

Spring Gardens and Marlie Mount battled to a 7-7 draw while Homestead beat Horizon Park 8-3. Angels Primary dismissed Rosemount 13-2 and Jericho beat Guy’s Hill 11-8.

Meanwhile, in Hanover, Pell River beat Middlesex Primary 3-0 and Green Island trounced St Simon 14-0. Green Island notched their second win, beating Kendal 6-0, while Pell River edged Maryland 1-0.

In Portland, Ken Wright Primary beat Port Antonio 8-1 while in neighbouring St Mary, Annotto Bay Primary whipped Castleton Primary 15-0 as Enfield Primary defeated Robin’s Bay 7-0.

Over in St Elizabeth, Carisbrook Primary beat Glen Stuart 14-6, and in the Kingston and St Andrew division Mona defeated Rosseau Primary 7-4, Duhaney Park edged Windward Road 8-7, and St Francis beat Jessie Ripoll 5-2.

St Patrick’s Primary of Kingston are the reigning all-island netball champions.
