Grange Makes Surprise Visit to INSPORTS to Inspect Equipment

Minister of Sports, Olivia Grange paid an impromptu visit to the Institute of Sports to look at sports equipment purchased for the Institute by the Sports Development Foundation for use in the basic and primary schools sports programme run by the Institute.

Included is equipment for cricket, football, badminton and “baby” hurdles for track.

Minister Grange was also pleased to learn that 13 of the 14 players from last year’s INSPORTS cricket nursery were picked for the Under-15 cricket team which represented Jamaica in regional competition.

All-island.champions St Patrick’s Primary easily defended their Kingston and St Andrew Insports Metball title by defeating Mona Height 13-5. Both schools will now move onto the All-Island Championship
